The world famous wedding destination in Scotland wanted an agency partner to launch its new £1.5m immersive attraction, attracting a younger audience to this iconic location.

SH Comms devised a campaign which extended Gretna Green’s positioning as ‘the home of romance’ to a fresh new audience. We partnered with a series of influencers including leading LGBTQ+ figures and TikTok couples (as well as traditional national press) to promote the Gretna Green offering through their unique love stories.
A carefully curated launch event tapped into the heritage of the destination as well as celebrating its new, modern aesthetic.
The Results
An impactful PR campaign coupled with a carefully curated launch event brought together national travel influencers, wedding media, TikTok influencers and national press alike to secure widespread media coverage for the reimagined venue.
The campaign was a resounding success and saw Gretna Green reach new and more diverse audiences than ever before.
