New Century

This iconic 60s music venue was the home of acts like The Rolling Stones and Tina Turner in its heyday. When the venue was reimagined as a multi-million pound social destination including the restoration of the music hall and development of a foodhall and college, SH Comms was appointed to launch the venue to Manchester and beyond.

What we did

The agency delivered a multilayered launch event over the course of a week which included a sell out special opening gig in the music hall. Key media were also invited to an exclusive supper club curated by SH Comms giving the first glimpse at the reimagined venue driving a high volume of ‘first look’ media coverage and building anticipation for the launch.

The Results

The launch event was attended by a 400 strong list of special guests and generated extensive regional and national coverage including features in the Guardian, NME and Olive Magazine.
